NOTTE BIANCA 2007 ROMA

La notte bianca è un'iniziativa di alcune grandi città del mondo che consiste nell'organizzazione di varie iniziative culturali o di intrattenimento durante tutta una nottata. Spesso questa è accompagnata da un servizio straordinario dei mezzi pubblici, all'organizzazione di spettacoli vari, all'apertura prolungata di negozi e di musei. La prima iniziativa del genere fu creata a Berlino nel 1997, ma la prima "Notte Bianca" è del 5/6 ottobre 2002 a Parigi ed è stata replicata ogni anno da allora la prima notte fra sabato e domenica di ottobre. La notte bianca parigina è gemellata con quella romana, di un anno più giovane, che si tiene nello stesso periodo, verso la metà di settembre. La principale differenza delle Notti bianche parigine e quelle romane e italiane in genere è che a Parigi sono dedicate essenzialmente all'arte contemporanea, con installazioni all'aperto e mostre in luoghi insoliti. La prima notte bianca di Roma (e d'Italia) si è svolta nel 2003. Nel 2004 l'evento trova la sua vera consacrazione, raggiungendo 1,5 milioni di presenze. Un record ben documentato dal film a più mani Notte Bianca, tutto in una notte, girato interamente nella notte, dal tramonto all'alba, da 4 registi italiani.
